Screenshots

Final Fantasy XIV takes me back, I played Final Fantasy XI back when it first came out it was my first real MMO game of any kind.  I have some great memories of the game but I also have moved on as well and can recognize some of the more troublesome elements that I hoped Final Fantasy XIV would address.  I am going to go down and cover my first impressions.

Halion is an interesting encounter in Ruby Sanctum, even on normal it’s fun for a tank.  You start off with a single tank but in the third phase you switch to two tanks one for the Incorporeal realm and one for the Physical realm and the raid has to balance their damage or they will force a wipe.  I like it overall and can’t wait to see the heroic version.

Up to four bosses tonight in Ulduar, we didn’t get Ignis this run but we will soon.

New upgrades as well: Dragonslayer’s Brace & Signet of the Earthshaker

Ulduar is awesome :)

Well we are left with one boss in the Battle for Mount Hyjal; I didn’t get to main tank any bosses last night but I had tanked all the bosses besides Kazrogal anyway so I wasn’t all that put out.  I know not huge news but for me it is great and I am glad that I may actually get close to beating all the raid content in Burning Crusade… overall I have nothing to add for other tankadins, just stay the course.
