I am leveling a new alt on Zangarmarsh, a human paladin for fun with a friend of mine. So far he is level 17 and kicking butt, although he did have a few misadventures with some gnolls in Redridge and them orcs that pounce on you. My ulterior motive is to perhaps maybe get him high enough to see just awesome Seal of vengeance is, since I have heard it is the best thing since sliced bread, and that it sucks like tar.
I had to change ventrilo providers, since my last one either blew up or went belly up either way, there service was getting spotty and I can’t have that when I need to get my raid on. Nothing meaningful today but supposedly some patch 2.4 information may be coming out this week. I sure as hell hope so.
This is a slow day, spent the majority of it reacting to small computer issues and just surfing the net trying to find the next big thing. Last night I had a breakthrough, well more or less an understanding that my paladin is very, very poor and she needs to make some money.

Tanking Tier 5 content is not much different from tanking Tier 4 content; bosses hit a little harder, and strategies are a little more complex but not so much that it takes too much thinking to complete the encounter. I got my first taste with The Lurker Below just before Christmas, followed by Void Reaver, more recently downing High Astromancer Solarion, and currently working on Hydross the Unstable this week. Progress is coming fast and furious now and I even picked up Tier 5 shoulders, Crystalforge Shoulderguards not really an upgrade to what I have but they give me some versatility with my gear.

Thunderfury
Just testing the www.wowhead.com linker that allows you to link items and spells from the game on web pages and works flawlessly. And no I don’t have a Thunderfury.
I often wonder if this world is screwed up or if I am just screwed up. Cue the recent Mass Effect “Sexbox” debacle and the ensuing balanced and fair discussion on Fox News. It seems once again mass media gets video games completely “right” and that we gamers are ruining the world, can’t tell fiction from reality, and we all want to rape women and murder complete strangers.
Awesome.

I am late to the party as usual, but I highly enjoyed this game, very engaging storytelling, the gameplay is good (it has a few problems), and the soundtrack is excellent. But I really think BioWare has created something new here, definitely raises the benchmark for Role Playing Games on console/computer systems. Very cinematic style for me at least at some points I forgot I was playing a game and felt like I was controlling a movie. It isn’t perfect, but damn good.
