Well it has been a long time since I updated the blog, I sort of hit a brick wall in progression, mainly due to lack of manpower but in the last few weeks <Taurential Reign> has beefed up our numbers and we are in SSC and downing Gruul. But more importantly Patch 2.3 just launched and I saved up 210 Badges of Justice and picked up three new upgrades and a huge stamina buff from the Combat Expertise talent change.
I went from Raid Buffed of maybe 16K health to topping 20K Health without flasks. I kept the same spec I had before just dropped Reckoning for Combat Expertise. I know Pursuit of Justice is fairly popular but I am not buying into the hype, I prefer a standard decrease to all spells across the board and keeping my damage mitigation semi-regular more so then sporadic.
I have maintanked Gruul a few times before the patch but never to death, but I will try again this week. I am very excited to run Zul’Aman and I have got to MT the first boss, a very fun if easy fight of taunting back and forth. I need more time to play with this new spec and new gear but I am really impressed with my paladin, and I am definitely reenergized after a brief malaise.
Now if only I could get a new tanking weapon and shield…
